Nick brings five years of construction accounting experience to Select Demo. At his previous company, he served two years as the Controller, where he oversaw the financial operations including AP/AR, job cost accounting, payroll and cash flow management, as well as developed and maintained the internal accounting controls and financial reporting for the company. At Select Nick assists in overseeing Accounting’s AR Department. He strongly believes in working as a collaborative team to closely monitor the financial progress of projects and the company as a whole. In the infancy of his career here, Nick played a vital role in Select Demo’s Merrimack Valley Columbia Gas Clean Up Project, where he was the onsite Project Accountant. He is a five-year member of the CFMA (Construction Financial Management Association) and he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from the University of New Hampshire.
Scott has been in some level of human resources for the last 22 years. As a Human Resources Director he has restructured benefit plans, implemented retirement plans, and successfully created workforce development plans. His human resources experience has been diversified through manufacturing, healthcare and construction. Scott is a member of SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management) and holds CP certification through them. A founding member, and previous Board Director, of the Diversity Workforce Coalition, Scott brings a perspective of inclusion into the workplace. Although his past focus in Human Resources has been management development, employee relations, workforce development, and recruitment, he is well versed in all human resources matters. Scott holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts and a Masters Degree from Rivier University.
Stacie has 35 years of accounting experience with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger knowledge. Her accounting background has been in the manufacturing industry, and she has spent the last three years of her career at Select Demo. She is responsible for streamlining all accounting functions and the process flow between accounts payable and purchasing, thereby making her a key contributor to Select Demo’s overall financial growth. Stacie holds a degree in Business Management from Northern Essex Community College Continued Education at Framingham State College.
Ryan Billingsley brings over 20 years of experience in the demolition industry to Select Demo Services, LLC. Starting at the age of 18, Ryan followed in his father’s footsteps and worked alongside him, allowing him the opportunity to work on some of the largest, most complex demolition projects on the east coast. Some of those notable projects included: The Central Artery’s “Big Dig”, The World Trade Center in New York City, Cooper River Bridge in Charleston, SC, The Rt. 1 Chelsea Viaduct Bridge Rehabilitation, and the 6/10 Connector in Providence, RI. This experience gave him the ability to run demolition operations for some of the largest demolition contractors in New England. As Operations Manager for Select Demo’s Heavy Civil Division, Ryan handles the day- to-day operations within the Division with respect to providing jobs with equipment, manpower, trucking and subcontractors. He also works very closely with his clients and his Project Management Team on scheduling and production, while performing projects safely and under budget.
Judah brings 23 years of construction experience to Select Demo. He has worn many hats throughout his career, starting as a Laborer, advancing to a Superintendent and then further progressing to his current position here as the Director of Operations. In his current role Judah manages the processes to ensure Select’s projects run efficiently and effectively, working to maintain the highest level of satisfaction for our clients. He oversees preconstruction engineering and planning, the scheduling of manpower, equipment assignments and ensuring projects are being performed on schedule and within budget. He prides himself in his extensive knowledge of all aspects of the construction industry from demolition to environmental remediation to water damage and fire remediation to utility work. He commenced his construction career working on the Central Artery’s “Big Dig,” which he feels gave him the correct stepping stones to be a key contributor to Select Demo’s success and growth.
Sam started his career in the construction industry in 2013 working in the field as a Local 223 Laborer for Select Demo. He now works as a Project Manager and Estimator, where he primarily focuses on interior demolition and concrete polishing in the Downtown Boston market. Sam also has experience in spray-applied fireproofing, asbestos abatement and concrete work. He prides himself on his work ethics, attention to detail and ensuring his projects perform efficiently, under budget and on schedule. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Framingham State University and a Professional Certificate in Construction from Wentworth Institute of Technology. Outside of the office, he enjoys skiing, playing hockey, golfing and going to the beach.
Liz Bangs was born and raised in the construction industry working alongside her father at his NH-based excavation company. She now brings seven years of construction experience working for Select Demo Services, LLC as an Assistant Project Manager and Estimator in the Demolition Division and prior to that at Eaton Door & Frame, an affiliated company. She is now the Division Manager of Select Demo’s Final Cleaning Division as she estimates and manages all of the division’s projects. Liz prides herself in giving every project and client her full attention while ensuring her jobs are being performed safely and within budget.
A valued member of Select Demo for over three years, Kate started her career here as a Projects Coordinator, where she learned the key elements of the demolition and abatement industry. She quickly advanced to an Assistant Project Manager in Select’s Abatement Division focusing on high end, fast-track projects ranging in value from $2 million - $14 million. She is now a Project Manager and is responsible for material procurement, contract management and financial reporting throughout the duration of multiple projects at any given time. A detail-oriented person, Kate excels at multitasking, problem solving and her ability to effectively communicate with her clients and her internal team at Select.
Brian Walsh brings over 35 years of demolition and abatement experience to Select Demo. Throughout his career he has held positions as an Estimator, Project Manager, Project Executive, Director of Operations and Corporate Health and Safety Officer. He started his career as a 3rd Class Petty Officer for the United States Navy, where he was a jet mechanic working on F-14’s. In 1985, he started working as a Project Manager for the largest abatement firm in the United States, National Surface Cleaning, where he ran many large scale, high profile environmental remediation projects in retail, hospitals, oil chemical facilities, power plants and high rise commercial buildings. Brian was one of the first licensed Asbestos Abatement Supervisors in Massachusetts history. He prides himself in his extensive knowledge of asbestos and lead abatement, mitigation work, PCB remediation, hazardous waste removal and contaminated soil remediation. He has proven to be a strong Project Executive with detailed-oriented skills and a people-oriented personality. Brian also has impressive problem-solving skills that help him properly plan and execute his projects from commencement to completion.
Tom brings over 30 years of construction experience to Select Demo with a focus on asbestos abatement, demolition, abrasive blasting and industrial painting. He started his career in the early 1990’s where is managed one of the largest abatement and commercial painting firms in the United States performing many high profile projects up and down the East Coast, most notably the U.S. Capitol Dome Restoration in Washington, DC, the Dewey Square Tunnel Rehabilitation in Boston, MA and the WMATA Tunnels Rehabilitation in Washington, DC. Tom specializes in the fabrication and installation of intricate platform and scaffolding systems that are often required on many of his industrial blasting and painting projects. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marine Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
