Brian Walsh brings over 35 years of demolition and abatement experience to Select Demo. Throughout his career he has held positions as an Estimator, Project Manager, Project Executive, Director of Operations and Corporate Health and Safety Officer. He started his career as a 3rd Class Petty Officer for the United States Navy, where he was a jet mechanic working on F-14’s. In 1985, he started working as a Project Manager for the largest abatement firm in the United States, National Surface Cleaning, where he ran many large scale, high profile environmental remediation projects in retail, hospitals, oil chemical facilities, power plants and high rise commercial buildings. Brian was one of the first licensed Asbestos Abatement Supervisors in Massachusetts history. He prides himself in his extensive knowledge of asbestos and lead abatement, mitigation work, PCB remediation, hazardous waste removal and contaminated soil remediation. He has proven to be a strong Project Executive with detailed-oriented skills and a people-oriented personality. Brian also has impressive problem-solving skills that help him properly plan and execute his projects from commencement to completion.
