Select Demo Services, LLC was contracted directly by Gilbane Building Co. to perform interior, selective demolition of 160,000 SF over 11 floors at 745 Atlantic Avenue in Downtown Boston to make way for lab, office and research-and-development uses. Select’s scope also entailed cutting openings in the existing concrete slab throughout building for a new elevator and stair shaft, as well as the removal and disposal of roof equipment and steel.
