Select Demo was contracted by Turnbridge Equities to perform the asbestos abatement and complete demolition of two adjoining 31,000 SF, two-story, structures including slabs and subsurface footings located at 1175 Leggett Avenue in Bronx, NY. Select's asbestos abatement scope consisted of the removal of 4,500 SF of floor tile and associated mastic, 23,000 SF of built-up roofing and 500 LF of skylight caulking. Select removed and properly disposed of regulated materials (bulbs, ballasts, etc.) and cleaned and removed two heating oil tanks at the site. Select's scope also included hand separation of a 20’ high brick wall, along approximately 100 LF of the structure.
