Project Value Range: $700,000 - $800,000
Select Demo was contracted by Suffolk Construction Co. to perform the demolition of the 11,000 SF, 1-story former Davenport Cancer Center that is being demolished as part of a larger redevelopment project that includes the construction of a new, four-story Edwin Barbey Patient Care Pavilion. The new pavilion will house an expanded cancer center, along with cardiology and medical-surgical space. The Davenport Cancer Center, which was previously located next to the new pavilion, is being moved into the new facility. Along with the building takedown, Select also completed a building separation from an active hospital building and the removal and disposal of two 4-foot-thick concrete radiation vaults located on an active hospital campus. The abatement scope consisted of the removal of asbestos flooring and mastic and weatherproofing on foundations and behind the brick facade.

It’s impressive to see the transformation at Cape Cod Hospital, turning the former Davenport Cancer Center into a modern, multi-story pavilion that expands care for cancer, cardiology, and medical-surgical patients. Large-scale projects like this require precise coordination and efficient document management behind the scenes. That’s why many organizations rely on https://www.docutrend.com/ for solutions that streamline workflows, secure critical information, and keep complex projects on track from start to finish.
