Fisher Hill Elementary School

Select Demo was contracted by J&J Contractors to perform the selective, interior demolition in this 2-story, 48,000 SF elementary school in Orange, MA. Selective demolition was performed to make way for a new addition to the existing school. Select also performed the asbestos abatement and complete demolition, slab and foundation removal and asbestos abatement of the 1-story, 35,000 SF Dexter Building. The asbestos abatement scope of the Dexter Building included the removal of asbestos glazing, linoleum flooring, adhesives, TSI, VAT, mastics, boiler and duct insulation. Select was contracted to remove all universal waste including: bulbs, ballasts, mercury thermostats, emergency and exit signs within the buildings. This project was completed over three separate phases.
