Demolition was completed in a way to prevent debris from falling into the Casco Bay, as work is being performed on a pier-like structure sandwiched among Interstate 295, the mouth of Back Cove, and Casco Bay. Select installed two (2) heavy-duty turbidity curtains around the pier at the bottom of the ocean floor and utilized a barge alongside the pier to prevent debris from going into the water. This project is part of the redevelopment of the B&M Bean Factory, which has since been transformed into Northeastern University's Roux Institute.
