Select Demo was contracted directly by Consigli Construction Co. to perform three separate phases of selective, interior demolition and abatement in two occupied, residential Cambridge Housing Authority apartment buildings both being six floors and 80,000 SF. Demolition scope consisted of the removal of walls, windows, flooring, doors, millwork, appliances, railings, curtain walls/partitions, HVAC items, plumbing fixtures and electrical items, saw-cutting of concrete slab for utility trenching and openings and the removal of roofing systems to existing deck. Abatement scope consisted of the removal of textured ceiling skim coat/plaster, joint compound, VAT/mastic, sinks and bathtubs.
