Select Demo was contracted directly by the Town of Billerica to perform the complete demolition and asbestos abatement of this 48,000 SF, 3-story former elementary school. Select Demo’s abatement scope consisted of the removal and proper disposal of 16,000 SF of VAT/mastic, window caulking, plaster, roofing, joint compound and pipe insulation. Select’s scope also consisted of the removal of the existing parking lot and basketball court; backfilling and final grading of site; and loaming of site to create grass field.
