Select Demo was contracted by a national construction management firm to the perform the selective, interior demolition and asbestos abatement of 50,000 SF of university offices and labs. Select’s abatement scope included the removal of asbestos interior cement board on fume hoods, grout, VAT/mastic, joint compound and glue daubs, as well as lead abatement of numerous surfaces. Select also performed HAZMAT removal of bulbs, ballasts and mercury in sink drains.
